Midge Toomey is the Founder and Managing Director of My New Wings and holds a Master of Science degree from Colorado State University. She has applied her background in qualitative research, emphasis on project management, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail toward this endeavor. Midge has spent much of her career in Colorado involved in strategic planning and project management in a university environment, as well as the private and non-profit sectors.

Midge is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional and has worked on projects with the Rocky Mountain Institute in Boulder, Colorado, The Institute for the Built Environment at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado and many non-profit organizations in Larimer County. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Open Stage Theatre in Fort Collins. She participates in the Fort Collins based program, ClimateWise, a voluntary city of Fort Collins program dedicated to helping local businesses and the environment. She provides guidance and expertise on the ClimateWise Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, assisting organizations with the development of guidelines and procedures that align with their environmental stewardship.

In keeping with her commitment to the Fort Collins Community, Midge is also a member of Be Local Northern Colorado, a nonprofit organization “cultivating a living economy of local independent businesses through community advocacy, consumer education and business promotion”. My New Wings is dedicated to providing support services to non-profit organizations in Northern Colorado that help advance their mission and increase their community impact. We accomplish this by building relationships and partnerships in the community that share our vision.
